Exactly what I wanted. I've been owning Panasonic products for 40-years. Have never purchased any that were bad.

I bought this because I needed a new "landline" phone. It was very difficult to mount on the face plate I already have but it is up, although very precariously. I try not to usse the received, so that the base doesn't fall off. It works, but it is more difficult to set up than the old one - more bells and whistles than I need. Hopefully, it will for a few years.

Microphone on the base unit is useless when using as a speakerphone. Sounds so garbelled to one receiving call they
can't understand what is being said and have to revert to hand held unit. Very disappointed. Bad engineering job.

I don't like this 2 lines panasonic corded/cordless phone because it turns itself off occasionally while I am speaking. There is no light in the handsets. The cords are extremely short.

I have 2 of these phones and they both had a white noise that would surge-I am disappointed with Panasonic releasing a product with this quality. Looking for other options.
